Rebecca Sher began her portrait business in 1985 as a children’s photographer. With children of her own and a great deal of experience, families and children became her specialty.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree and elementary education certification through Wellesley College with a concentration in Art History and Studio Art Photography. Additionally, she completed coursework at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and The Art Institute of Boston.
In 1987, Rebecca worked as a freelance photojournalist for two Boston area publications, The Daily Transcript and The Boston Parents’ Paper later extending her photojournalistic training and study of art history to her client portraits.
